Meet Rachel

Hi, I’m Rachel Castille, founder of Gateway Africa. I’m an American living in Nairobi, Kenya, and I understand both the excitement and uncertainty that can come with entering a new country, culture, and assignment. Gateway Africa was born from a desire to help people land with clarity, honor, safety, and trusted relationships, beginning here in Kenya.

The Bigger Vision

Gateway Africa is beginning with consultation and coordination services in Kenya, but the larger vision is a trusted hospitality, relocation, marketplace, and partnership ecosystem across Africa. We are building slowly, prayerfully, and with people of integrity.

Questions Before You Book

Is this the right fit?

Gateway Africa is for travelers, families, and leaders who want a safe, guided, and culturally honoring way to enter Kenya with the help of trusted local connections.

Is this only for those moving?

Not at all. Whether you are here for a short trip or a new season of life, I help you discern the right level of support you need to arrive well.

Do you handle the bookings for me?

I coordinate and connect you with trusted local providers for your stay and travel. My heart is to guide and prepare you, ensuring you have a soft landing through people I know and trust, rather than acting as a standard travel agency.

What does the coordination fee cover?

The $300 USD fee covers our guidance, planning, and coordination support. Vendor costs, housing, meals, transportation, activities, and third-party services are paid separately to the providers.

Can I start with just a talk?

Yes. Many people begin with a Consultation to find clarity and ask questions. From there, we can decide together if full coordination is what you need to feel at peace.

Is this only for Kenya?

Currently, we focus on Kenya, with Nairobi as our main home. Our hope is to eventually offer this same trusted bridge and soft landing in other African nations.

When should we start?

It is best to reach out 4–6 weeks before you plan to arrive. If you are traveling sooner, please still send a message and I will do my best to support you.

Start your journey with trusted support

You do not have to figure out Kenya alone. Book a consultation or coordination call and begin preparing for your arrival with clarity, peace, and trusted local connections.
